Sometime around Sunday, Feb 16th the NCAR thermocouples stopped sending
valid data to the quacker. Andrew and I investigated this on Wed Feb 19th.
We could not establish communications with the data logger from the laptop
to the serial port...the 12V power seemed fine (both going in and out of the
logger). Here's an example of some of the messages:
when trying to run *0 get the following message: Tables not running
(this indicates the program is not running)...
by checking with *B get the following messages:
01: +8504.0
02: +56735
03: KBytes Memory 0000
04: 99 (watchdog errors)
05: Table overruns 00
the lithium battery voltage seemed fine ~3.x V.
yesterday I called Campbell and talked to Craig Knox...he suggested
checking the 5V power supply via the front panel. If this is not at
5V then need to send the logger back to campbell for repair. If this
is working we should be able to communicate with the logger.
can reset the logger with: *A 9-8-7-6-5
